How to Set Content Duration
Configuring how many seconds each image, video, or app stays on screen.
Each item in your playlist has an independent display duration:
Setting Slide Duration
- Images and Web Apps: Default duration is typically 10 to 15 seconds. You can edit this directly in the duration input box on each timeline row.
- Videos: BraSigns automatically probes your video file and sets the duration to the exact length of the video clip. You cannot accidentally cut off a video early, but you can configure it to hold or loop.
Tip: For high-traffic hallways, 8–10 seconds per slide is optimal. For waiting rooms and cafeterias, 15–20 seconds gives viewers plenty of time to read.
